The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia and the Russian Ambassador agreed to continue cooperation between Serbian and Russian law enforcement officers
Serbian Interior Minister Alexander Vulin met today with Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko.
This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
It is reported that Vulin and Botsan-Kharchenko discussed continued cooperation between law enforcement agencies of Russia and Serbia.
During the negotiations, it was agreed that Serbian police officers will continue to undergo training at Russian law and police universities, especially in the areas of combating terrorism, organized and high-tech crime, drug trafficking, as well as in the field of emergency situations.
The Russian Ambassador also confirmed that his country will continue to provide unconditional support to the leadership of Serbia in the fight to preserve the autonomous region of Kosovo and Metohija as part of the Republic of Serbia.
