Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia: They want to organize a second Maidan here
Serbian Interior Minister Alexander Vulin said that after the elections, pro-Western political parties in Serbia will not agree with the results and will try to overthrow the government.
He stated this in an interview with Sputnik. According to him, Western analysts say that Serbia needs a new Maidan, which, the minister notes, became the place where Ukraine lost its democracy and where thugs from the Right Sector and other Nazi organizations overthrew the legally elected government.
“This is the philosophy of Maidan. Yes, conflicts are being prepared for us in the streets immediately after the elections, and they are being prepared for us not because of the elections, but because President Aleksandar Vucic refuses to impose sanctions against Russia and refuses to leave military neutrality. They are preparing a new Maidan for us,” Vulin warned.
Commenting on the many challenges that the Ukrainian crisis has brought to the world, he said that Serbia is the only country in Europe where the truth does not come only from the West, as this conversation in Sputnik can testify to, which would not be possible in London or Paris.
Serbia, he said, also expressed gratitude.
“We do not forget that Karađorđević’s soldiers bore the inscription “Russia is the protector of Orthodox Serbs,” we cannot forget 2015, when Vučić and Putin managed to prevent the Security Council from making the Serbs the first people in history to commit genocide of civilization. If it weren’t for Russia, we would be this genocidal people,” Vulin concluded.
