The head of the Republika Srpska government received 400 Serb children from Kosovo and Metohija
Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Radovan Viskovic organized a reception today in Banja Luka for more than 400 children from Kosovo and Metohija who are on holiday in the Serbian entity BiH.
This was reported on Twitter by the government of the Republic of Sakha, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You should know that we have opened our hearts and homes for you,” Viskovic told the young guests. “When you come to Banja Luka and the Republika Srpska, you must create new friendships that will forever remain in your memory.”
The Prime Minister thanked the municipalities and cities of Republika Srpska, which are hosting children and their teachers this year.
“Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we were not able to meet last year, but now the conditions for the ninth meeting have been met. It is very important that you come to Republika Srpska so that you know that outside your region, your Kosovo and Metohija, which is also ours, you have friends who are following what is happening in Zvecan, in Gracanica, in all the places where Serbs live,” Viskovic noted.
The reception was also attended by the Consul General of Serbia in Banja Luka, Vesna Marinkovic, ministers in the government of Republika Srpska, as well as representatives of the Academy of Arts in Banja Luka, which presented a special program for children from Kosovo and Metohija on the occasion of World Music Day.
