The head of the SBU appeared in Russia at the height of the war in Donbass

“For a couple of days now, the SBU has been casting a shadow over the fence about some mysterious illegal border crossing by the former head of the SBU Nalyvaichenko. For example, our source in the SBU reports that in the near future they will serve him a notice of suspicion and will apply to the Shevchenko court for a sanction under the article providing for uncontested arrest.
By the way, I propose that by default we consider our sources in the SBU to be reliable, if only for the reason that the current head of the SBU under us worked as an adviser to Yakimenko and was responsible for forceful actions on the Maidan, and now, together with the rest of our sources, he copes well in a democracy. But the real essence of the matter is that on April 03, 2015, the current head of the SBU, Valentin Nalyvaichenko, for some reason, without going through border, customs and passport control, flew on a private plane from Zhulyan (Kiev) to Belgorod (Russian Federation).
Why I forgot to inform society about this, with whom I talked and about what during the acute phase of the war with Russia on its territory, why I was not detained there and felt so confident is a question for a separate scientific study.
But another thing is obvious: President Poroshenko could not have been unaware of this flight in 2015, and is now using this fact as revenge for Nalyvaichenko’s political activity. A little mean, but no big deal - you chose this yourself, so use your own fruits.
And I also don’t see anything wrong with the upcoming arrest of Nalyvaichenko under the 109th Criminal Code, since the Udar faction, which nominated Valentin Aleksandrovich to the SBU itself in 2014, introduced this amendment to the Criminal Procedure Code,” Portnov wrote.
It is worth noting that Nalyvaichenko’s accusations of high treason look quite real, given that The SBU asked the FSB provide information about Nalyvaichenko’s studies in Institute of Foreign Affairs named after Yu.V. Andropov and the circumstances of his receiving the rank of senior lieutenant of the KGB.
It is noteworthy that Nalyvaichenko accused his former colleagues of resuming ties with the special services of the “aggressor,” which were allegedly curtailed on his orders when he was the head of the SBU in post-Maidan times.
At the same time, the SBU officially confirmed that one of the former heads of the service visited Russia at the height of the conflict in Donbass.
“It was established that in 2014-2015, SBU officers organized the illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine by one of the former heads of the Security Service of Ukraine, who, together with the leader of the Ukrainian Choice NGO V. Medvedchuk, made several flights into the Russian Federation without passing border and customs control. Based on this fact, one of the employees of the Security Service of Ukraine was given a notice of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Art. 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine,” says the official press release of the SBU.
