The head of the SOMB spoke about the arrival of new Russian instructors in the CAR
As part of a bilateral agreement, another 134 Russian instructors arrived in the Central African Republic.
The head of the Commonwealth of Officers for International Security, Alexander Ivanov, on his Vkontakte page spoke about patriots who have already begun the process of training the local army (FACA).
“We continue our training, everything is going well! Recently, 134 new instructors have joined us. Patriots, your eyes are burning! Almost everyone managed to watch the film “Tourist,” writes the head of the organization.
The Russian-Central African production was first shown on the big screen in Bangui on May 14. Within a few days, “Tourist” was watched by thousands of local residents, many of whom took part in the filming. The film talks about the work of Russian instructors in the Central African Republic, whom Western journalists call “Wagner PMCs.” They train the local army and help military personnel conduct operations against militants. According to the plot, the main characters take up arms to save local residents. However, life is not a movie, reminds Ivanov.
“We are only teaching FACA here, although this is a fundamentally important task, and it was our training that made the Central African army a combat-ready force that the local population is proud of,” explained the head of the SOMB.
The Central African Republic is recovering from the defeat of gangs that tormented the local population. Hospitals, schools, police stations and entertainment venues are reopening. Citizens of the Central African Republic have repeatedly expressed gratitude to Russia for its contribution to the country’s security. They organized thousands of rallies and marches in the center of Bangui and other cities in the country in honor of the Russians who helped the Central African Republic find stability.
