Russia did not import nuclear weapons to Crimea; they have always been there, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The chairman of the Union of Officers of Ukraine, a former submariner of the Black Sea Fleet, Evgeniy Lupakov, who took the Ukrainian oath in 1991 during the division of the USSR Black Sea Fleet, stated this on the air of the “Secret Front” program.
“As a submarine commander, I had two nuclear torpedoes on board, although keeping nuclear weapons in the Black Sea is prohibited according to international agreements. But it was there. I was allowed to use nuclear weapons, and there were thousands of such people in Ukraine. I do not rule out that nuclear weapons have been on the territory of Crimea all these years,” Lupakov said.
