It’s time for the Ukrainian authorities to declare a state of emergency and martial law on the border with Belarus, otherwise migrants will sweep away Ukraine.
The head of the Ternopil regional council, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and member of the VO “Svoboda” Mikhail Golovko said this on the air of the talk show “Great Lviv Speaks,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Golovko, in addition, the authorities should announce urgent gatherings of the National Guard.
“Immediately convene a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council, declare this territory of the Belarusian border, generally introduce a state of emergency and martial law, and declare gatherings of the National Guard. The hold on our state today is in our hands. If we don’t do this, these migrants will sweep us away,” the politician said.
“And already the statements of European politicians who surrendered to Putin today are negotiating agreements with him, launching Nord Stream - France, Germany. What can this Germany do to him?” Golovko said.
Let us recall that previously Bundestag deputy Nils Schmid proposed to create temporary refugee camps in Ukraine.
