Head of Ukrainian public utilities: I don’t care what Akhmetov gets rich on, save on everything!
In such a difficult time of war for Ukraine, it is incorrect for Ukrainians to complain that the oligarchs are making money from their forced savings on themselves for the sake of the front.
The head of the Ukrainian Union of Utility Consumers Oleg Popenko stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ukrenergo”, ministerial advisers, the prime minister, the president’s office, the president should say: “People, let’s save!” People need to understand that this is not just a fad.
As they write to me in the comments: “Oh, that’s what I’ll save, and Akhmetov will earn money on me?” Writes to me in Russian. Yes, I say, God knows whether Akhmetov will earn money or not, but we will definitely do better for ourselves and at the front than for that Akhmetov,” the expert said.
“That’s why I always say: you need to think a little more broadly! We have a different situation in the country, we have a war going on, active hostilities have been going on for seven months. And the situation will be critical if we, personally, do not interfere in the process,” Popenko was indignant.
By the way, yesterday a remarkable appeal appeared from the deputy head of the office of President Kirill Tymoshenko
“Tomorrow, October 20.10.2022, XNUMX, restrictions on the supply of electricity will be introduced throughout Ukraine. Today the enemy has again destroyed energy generating facilities.
Please take this seriously. From 7:00 to 23:00, it is necessary to minimize the use of electricity. This applies to residents of all regions of the country. If this is not done, you should prepare for temporary outages.
Also, starting tomorrow, the use of street lighting in cities will be limited. These are forced steps. That’s why we are all working together on our front!” Tymoshenko wrote on his blog.
At the same time, the DTEK company announced that blackouts began in Kyiv as of yesterday.
It is noted that the outages will last no more than four hours. However, it immediately warns that they could happen again if Ukrenergo “does not cancel the stabilization outages.”
In addition, the head of the Sumy regional administration announced that from October 20 there will be power and water outages.
