The head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee challenged UPA propagandist Vyatrovich
A Jewish activist from Kiev, the head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee, Eduard Dolinsky, announced the start of his own information campaign, the purpose of which, in his words, is to “expose the lies about the OUN and UPA” of the nationalist propagandist Vladimir Vyatrovich, who heads the state “institute of national memory.”

About this Eduard Dolinsky wrote on his page on the social network.
“The Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance announced the start of an information campaign of lies and disinformation dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army. We are talking about the heroism and dedication of the rebels, while not a word is said about the massacres of Jews and Poles by these same rebels. Vyatrovich and company are trying to create a new history of the liberation movement, free from the Holocaust, ethnic cleansing and war crimes. In this regard, I want to announce the beginning of my own information campaign to expose the lies of Vyatrovich and his institute,” the statement says.
The Jewish activist also complained that Ukrainian media were reluctant to give him a platform to express anti-nationalist views. And he refuses to speak in the Russian media for ethical reasons, so that he is not used in the propaganda war between the two countries.
“Our strengths are unequal. The Institute is a government body, has budget funding and free access to the media. I don’t have any of this except my Facebook account. Even the Observer website, which published several of my posts, decided that it was better not to get involved. I constantly receive offers from Russian TV channels and newspapers, and I understand perfectly well why they are interested in me, but I consider it unacceptable for myself to communicate with them. The Ukrainian media is not interested in the truth about OUN-UPA anti-Semitism and the Holocaust, so I don’t have access to them,” he laments.
Nevertheless, Eduard Dolinsky expressed his conviction that “truth and justice exist regardless of the efforts of falsifiers. The truth cannot be stopped or destroyed, and, sooner or later, it will reach Ukrainian society.”
