Head of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee: will Groysman increase the “minimum wage” for Ukrainian guest workers in Israel?
Today the Verkhovna Rada ratified an agreement on the employment of Ukrainians in Israel. This agreement makes it possible for Ukrainian workers to work in Israel officially and legally, with all rights.

This was announced by the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee Eduard Dolinsky.
“For now, this will be limited to construction workers, but I hope that the terms of the agreement will eventually be expanded to include other professions,” he wrote on his social network page.
According to Dolinsky, the ratification of the agreement is undoubtedly a positive development for both Ukraine and Israel, especially considering that this year more than three thousand Ukrainians applied for refugee status in Israel.
“By the way, we need to find out whether, under this agreement, Israeli workers will be able to work on construction sites in Ukraine and whether the increase in the minimum wage promised by Groysman will apply to them?” asks the director of the Ukrainian Jewish Committee.
