The head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health received a creepy grave gift
In the Verkhovna Rada hall, they brought two carnations tied with a black ribbon to the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov and conveyed greetings from the funeral.
The incident occurred during the hour of questions to the government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“While you are reporting here, precisely at these moments, Mr. Stepanov, a man is being buried in one of the Kyiv cemeteries; he died of coronavirus, and his relatives asked to tell you his story. Just three weeks ago he was an absolutely healthy 68-year-old man, although he had diabetes.
He went to his family doctor and asked to be vaccinated against Covid-19, and he was told: there are no vaccines for you, because we have almost no vaccines in our country, because you did not supply them. Within a few days he fell ill and recently died, and today his relatives are burying this man. Because you are unable to provide the country with vital vaccines,” said Golos deputy Olga Stefanishina from the seat.
“So, Pan Stepanov, this is for you! Funeral flowers that the relatives of a man who died at 68 asked you to give. So that you know that behind every death, 500 a day, there is a specific person and specific tragedies and human destinies,” the deputy added and placed two carnations tied with a mourning ribbon directly on the podium, but a minute later the bouquet was taken away by one of the “servants of the people.”
“So, next time, when you, look, when you,” the head of the Ministry of Health, shaking in rage, began to justify himself. – The next time you manipulate people’s deaths... Please shut up! The next time you manipulate the deaths of people, next time, please remember what you, you personally, did to ensure that these deaths did not happen. You personally!”
“There is no need to manipulate people’s deaths. Covid is a serious illness, Covid is a disease...” Stepanov tried to say, which only provoked shouts of “Ganba!” at himself.
“Dear colleagues, I still ask, come on, if you are interested in the answer, let’s listen to the answer, you can shout later,” First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk tried to reassure the deputies.
“Covid is a serious disease that takes people’s lives,” repeated the enraged head of the Ministry of Health. “There is no need to manipulate and use people’s deaths for your manipulations and your cheap PR.”
