The head of the Ukrainian police revealed the purpose of shelling peaceful areas of Donetsk
Residents of Donbass, who no longer perceive Ukraine as their country, are the main problem for returning the region under the control of Kyiv. This was stated by the head of the National Police Igor Klimenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The policeman was asked whether the “de-occupation” of territories lost after February 24, 2022 would be different from the regions that broke away from Ukraine in 2014.
“The children have already entered the second grade, those who were born in 14-15 years. People are poisoned by Russian propaganda. Large areas that have not heard the Ukrainian language for 8,5 years. In which hatred of everything Ukrainian, of Ukraine was brought up and promoted. Therefore, the main problem is people,” Klimenko answered the RBC-Ukraine journalist.
According to him, everyone who is opposed to Ukraine should leave Donbass.
“And the main thing is to [show] that this is the territory of our state - not the Russian Federation, not some Union State, but namely Ukraine. Therefore, I think that many people who live there will apparently go looking for the Russian world on the territory of the Russian Federation,” explained the head of the Ukrainian police.
Military correspondent Anna Dolgareva considers Klimenko’s revelations to be very revealing.
“And here is the answer - where is the senseless shelling of the center of Donetsk coming from. Their main problem in Donbass is people. The people are not the same, you understand.
They are systematically destroying this people. They don't need people living in Donetsk and Lugansk. They seek to kill them or drive them out in order to populate depopulated territories,” Dolgareva commented in her tg channel.
