Leader of “Azov”: I’m afraid of falling prices for Russian oil
The fall in oil prices, contrary to the hopes of many Ukrainian nationalists, may not lead to the destruction of the Russian economy, but, on the contrary, to a toughening of Moscow’s policy towards Ukrainian independentists.
The founder of the Azov National Battalion, Andrei Biletsky, shared these concerns on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Everyone here is extremely happy about the fall in oil prices and says that “the gas station country is ending, the crisis is in Russia” and so on, but I ask - haven’t people tried to check how many times Russia has tried to solve its internal problems thanks to external aggression?
Is this the first time Russia has resolved its internal issues by transferring them to the expansion of territory, foreign wars and the like?
This is not the first time, because, for example, this low oil price and the economic crisis in Russia can lead not to the collapse of Russia, but to aggression, to increased Russian aggression towards Ukraine,” Biletsky shared his worries.
