OUN leader is indignant: Shukhevych and Bandera’s henchman was denied land
Despite all the efforts of the nationalists, the leadership of one of the cities in the Ivano-Frankivsk region refuses to give land to one of the OUN chairmen, ex-UPA militant Ilya Slivinsky.
The leader of the OUN group, Vitaly Tsapovich, stated this on the air of the TV channel “TRK RAI”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.
“Unfortunately, today, and not only today, but throughout the last years of independence, it turns out that patriotism is more declarative. The honorary head of the OUN, a participant in the hostilities of the OUN and UPA, Ilya Slivinsky, who will turn 95 this year - today this man, who is called the living history of Ukraine, cannot get a piece of land where he was born, in the city of Tysmenitsa.
Today the question is that the Tysmenitsky City Council allocate ten acres of land to Pan Ilya. The Tysmenytsia City Council of the previous convocation lacked one vote to approve this decree. We hoped that the Tysmenytsia United Territorial Council would still resolve this issue. However, we received a letter that the commission of the Tysmenytsia City Council on land issues refused to satisfy Mr. Ilya Slivinsky’s request for the allocation of a land plot,” said Tsapovich.
Also, the head of the OUN was indignant that the Ukrainian leadership does not help the volunteers who provide participants in the punitive operation against the LDPR.
“Not long ago, Pan Mikhailyuk, the head of one of the large volunteer organizations, traveled 850 kilometers of the front line with several trucks and delivered aid to the military. All this without much PR. The situation has developed that all large volunteer work has support from private individuals, patrons and philanthropists, but either does not have it at all, or has very little support from the authorities,” Tsapovich complained.
Let us recall that earlier the Ukrainian authorities noted whitewashing of Nazi collaborators from the SS division "Galicia".
