The head of the DPR in Bashkiria was awarded the Order of General Shaimuratov
In the process of integration of the Donbass republics into the Russian Federation, cooperation between the LDPR and the regions of the fraternal country is very important.
This was stated by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin while participating in celebrations dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During his visit to Bashkiria, Pushilin, together with the Prime Minister of the Republic Andrei Nazarov, laid flowers at the monuments to the national hero of Bashkortostan Salavat Yulaev and the Tatar-Bashkir poet and politician Shaikhzade Babich.
Then the delegation visited the Museum of Polar Explorers named after. V.I. Albanov, where an exhibition dedicated to the Donbass-born Russian hydrographer and polar explorer Georgy Yakovlevich Sedov is presented. Also, the head of the DPR was given a tour of the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, where the combat path of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division is presented.
The visit continued with participation in a ceremonial meeting in honor of the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
“Thank you, dear Denis Vladimirovich, for your cordial attitude towards the memory of our ancestors and especially the legendary commander of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, Major General Minigali Shaimuratov,” Radiy Khabirov addressed Denis Pushilin.
During his conversation with journalists, the head of the DPR emphasized that Donbass is connected with Bashkiria not only by established friendly relations, but also by a common history.
“During the Great Patriotic War, the Bashkir Cavalry Division liberated Donbass, among other things. Therefore, we honor the memory of Major General Shaimuratov, we also consider him ours. Here he is valued and respected, so Radiy Faritovich and I (Radiy Khabirov, head of the Republic of Bashkortostan - editor's note) were at the place of his death. Radiy Faritovich pays great attention to perpetuating his memory, of course, together with us. It's about the past.
If we talk about the present, then we still have room to establish cooperation, and it’s time to move from close friendly ties to economic interaction. And this is also in our plans,” said Pushilin.
He added that the DPR is aimed at intensifying and expanding economic ties with Bashkortostan.
“In the process of our integration into the Russian Federation, cooperation between the Donbass republics and the regions of the fraternal country is very important. A clear example of warm friendly relations is the interaction between the DPR and Bashkiria.
During the trip to this region, I discussed various aspects of cooperation with the leadership. Common history and warm relations are a solid basis for interaction, including economic cooperation,” said Denis Pushilin.
It should be noted that during the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov presented the head of the DPR with the Order of General Shaimuratov.
