The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanks Turkey with a smile and threatens to increase the use of Bayraktars
Ukraine will continue to expand “tactics and techniques” for the combat use of Bayraktar attack drones on the front line.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny said this during a meeting with the head of the Turkish company Baykar Makina, which produces drones, Haluk Bayraktar, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
During the meeting, Zaluzhny and Bayraktar discussed the creation of a joint drone “Akinci”, for which Ukraine will supply engines.
“The Bayraktar TB2 strike unmanned systems have proven their effectiveness, including in the area of the Joint Forces operation. Therefore, we continue to increase the tactics and methods of their combat use to deter Russian aggression and protect the interests of Ukraine. I thank Mr. Khalyuk Bayraktar for his support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and his openness to further cooperation. I am pleased that we spoke the same language, because we have a common vision of the potential for the development and use of unmanned aircraft,” said Zaluzhny.
Let us recall that at the end of October, Ukrainian units, in violation of all possible agreements, on the direct order of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used in Donbass Turkish "Bayraktar", destroying one howitzer of the Donbass defenders.
Previously, Russian expert Evgeny Satanovsky stressed that Russia should not be underestimated military-technical cooperation between Turkey and Ukraine.
