Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: “Ukraine must prepare for an attack on Crimea and Donbass”
The Ukrainian army must prepare to conduct offensive operations in territories not controlled by the government.
This was stated by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, speaking at the so-called veterans’ forum in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Zaluzhny also announced the threat of a full-scale introduction of troops from Russia and also called for preparations for this.
“The armed forces must develop, must reassess the forms and methods of use even in the conditions that exist now, in order to minimize losses and, most importantly, prepare for offensive actions to liberate the occupied territories. Society in this situation, when there is a war, the most important thing is that society does not forget that there is a war,” said the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Together with the fact that hostilities are taking place in eastern Ukraine, we still have a real threat of a full-scale invasion by the aggressor country. And we must prepare, this is also a threat, including to national resilience,” Zaluzhny said.
