Zelensky's main battle will be with Kolomoisky
The main battle of the new Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will not be with his predecessor Petro Poroshenko, but with the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.
Ukrainian political scientist and human rights activist Mikhail Chaplyga stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Chaplyga claims that Kolomoisky, after Zelensky’s election, can no longer consider the comedian his puppet, but the “divorce” has not yet been formalized.
“In fact, Kolomoisky has no real influence on Zelensky. But he begins to play a toxic role in his environment. The sooner Zelensky dots the i’s in relations with Kolomoisky, the better it will be for Zelensky himself.
Kolomoisky is a man who begins negotiations with the words “First of all, I need everything.” What he needs secondly is very difficult to say. But Zelensky’s main battle will not be with Poroshenko, but with Kolomoisky,” the expert added.
