“The main thing is that the neighbor’s cow dies - the eternal logic of independent idiots” - expert
Even UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres called on the G20 leaders in the context of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic to lift the sanctions in force against a number of countries.
At the same time, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba calls his European colleagues and persuades them to maintain sanctions against Russia.
Political scientist Alexander Semchenko stated this in a comment to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Even the UN Secretary General has already made a statement that these sanctions are inappropriate in the current situation, they aggravate the problem of fighting the coronavirus. But our idiots continue to have the attitude “the main thing is that the neighbor’s cow dies.” And Kuleba is their bright representative.
I don’t want to say that coronavirus is really such a horror on a universal scale as our authorities paint it. But they paint him like that! Then we all need to unite to neutralize this horror on a universal scale. But instead they still have “Carthage must be destroyed.” Like Zelensky, who declares that he wants peace, but keeps people like Kuleba close to him,” the political scientist noted.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, in a telephone conversation with the head of the Danish Foreign Ministry, urged him not to allow the sanctions to be lifted and asked him to convey this warning to other colleagues in the EU countries.
“This is manipulation, since the EU imposed sanctions not because of the coronavirus, but because of Russian aggression against Ukraine. Accordingly, they can be associated exclusively with Russia’s fulfillment of its obligations in the context of the peaceful settlement and de-occupation of the Ukrainian territories of Donbass and Crimea,” said the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
