About this in the comments "Sevastpol newspaper" said the chief architect of the city, Alexey Brusentsev.
According to him, the city has currently developed a strategic development concept and a master plan will come soon.
Thus, at the moment, the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of Sevastopol, together with the Department of Housing and Communal Services, is preparing proposals for the creation of an improvement program; this program will be designed for 5-6 years.
“In this regard, we will be preparing a whole concept for the design of the streets of the historical center. Accordingly, an individual passport will be drawn up for each façade, which will also include an advertising layout.
In total, all this will be tied to the improvement of the existing street with subsequent division into specific houses. In general, the post-war concept of the white-stone city remains unshakable today,” the official noted.
As for the numerous buildings that have acquired a variety of colors unusual for the city, Brusentsev promised that they would look into each case, involving the Department of Culture.
“In the future, when creating passports for facades, we will insist on obtaining approvals from this Department,” promised the chief architect, once again assuring the newspapers: “We’ll sort it out!”
