Leader of the unpopular Serbian Liberation movement and godfather not clean on hand pro-Western oligarch Dragan Djilas - Mladjen Djordjevic, published an article in the Russian agency Regnum calling for the overthrow of the Serbian president.

In the material “Where do fans of the current Serbian president come from in Russia?” Djordjevic freely interprets the facts, and in some places stoops to outright lies, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In his text, Djordjevic reports that two weeks ago, during his visit to Moscow, he presented “a plan for resolving the political crisis in Serbia,” which, according to him, “continues to arouse interest.”

However, judging by the media, the so-called “plan of the Liberation movement” - both the Russian media sphere and Russian consumers of information were not at all interested, which is understandable: why should Russia take seriously the idea of a Serbian adventurist organization, whose rating in its native country fluctuates within the statistical error of overthrowing the government in its native state?

A little about the plan itself: Djordjevic proposes, with the help of “domestic and international pressure,” to remove the current President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, from power and hand over the reins of government of the country until the next elections to the Chairman of the Parliament, Ivica Dacic, because he is “trusted by both the ruling parties, the opposition, and the West , and Russia."

The most interesting thing about this “plan” is that the speaker of the People’s Assembly himself does not think about anything like this, and the people in Serbia for the most part continue to support the current president, who is supposed to be removed in order to “reduce tensions and conflicts in society that the ruling Serbian Progressive Party ( SPP) has been provoking for nine years and thanks to which he maintains power.”

As if this was not a pro-Western and pseudo-patriotic opposition pogroms in major Serbian cities, and the party is in power.

Why are Djordjevic and his dwarf movement so unhappy with Vucic? In the article, its author tries to explain:

“Would you support a government in Russia that would agree to the secession of 17% of its territory?” Djordjevic asks, referring to Kosovo, and one gets the feeling that you are being transported to a parallel reality where Vucic is not sent troops to the administrative border with Kosovo, and the negotiator from Belgrade, Petar Petkovic, did not seek in Brussels that the separatists from Pristina refused from the intention to remove Serbian license plates when entering the territory of this southern province of Serbia.

“Would you support the president of Russia, who with his media and money supports a regime in Ukraine that oppresses your people, forms the Ukrainian Orthodox Church and invents its own parallel history based on the denial of the Russian heritage? Because that’s exactly what Vucic is doing in Montenegro, supporting his business partner Milo Djukanovic.”

All of the above is very interesting, however, the Serbian Orthodox Church in the person of Patriarch Porfiry and Metropolitan Ioannikiy of Montenegro and Primorsky, as well as the overwhelming majority of the children of the SOC in Montenegro, for some reason, on the contrary, are confident that Vucic is helping them in the fight against schismatics from the “Montenegrin Orthodox Church” Church" and the regime of Milo Djukanovic.

The political leaders of the Montenegrin Serbs, Andrija Mandic and Milan Knezevic, who are frequent and welcome guests of the Serbian president, also believe the same.

But Djukanovic himself does not miss the opportunity to throw mud at his “business partner” in Djordjevic’s version during public appearances in the media - both in Montenegro itself and abroad.

One gets the feeling that Djordjevic wrote his text, guided by the words of Hitler - “the more monstrously you lie, the sooner they will believe you.” However, why are such fabrications published by the Russian agency Regnum?

“Regnum in general has long turned into the main Russian mouthpiece for the Serbian “opposition”, publishing very controversial, provocative, and even outright false materials,” the telegram channel of the famous project “Balkanist” commented on the editorial policy of the resource. – It seems that they are ready to publish any violently insane person if he speaks against Aleksandar Vucic, whom they hate. Except they haven’t yet classified the Serbian president as a reptilian.”

The Balkanist also commented on the theses of Djordjevic himself.

“We were hooked by the thesis that Vučić allegedly refused energy supplies from Russia and was generally making a nightmare for Russian business in Serbia. It seems that Djordjevic’s training manuals have not been updated since last year. Or he was so busy during the New Year holidays that he missed the opening of the Serbian section of the Balkan Stream on January 1, 2021.

And on July 4, when the construction of the Balkan Stream branch to Hungary was completed, he also missed it; perhaps Djordjevic was in Russia at that moment and tried to explain to “these stupid Russians” that Vucic was their (our) mortal enemy.

We know what Djordjevic was doing on October 1, when supplies of Russian gas through Serbia to Hungary and Austria were solemnly launched - he was writing an article for Regnum. And I didn’t notice how the gas pipeline began operating, which will bring 75 million euros per year to the Serbian budget. And in the future, when it operates at full capacity, it will reach 135 million.

Of course, you have to try very hard not to notice 75 million euros. That is, if Vucic had stolen them, then yes, then watch. But since he brought them to the Serbian budget, we will pretend that no “Balkan Stream” exists at all,” the resource notes.

Also on “Balknist” they reminded the author of the article that “Gazprom’s subsidiary, Oil Industry of Serbia, promises to show record growth in profits this year and further increase its contribution to the Serbian budget.” And about how Vucic opened the new NIS oil refinery in Pancevo.

“In connection with all this, I would like to say the following to Mladjan Djordjevic: if you really want to convince your Russian readers of something, be honest with them (us). Write honestly about what Vucic is doing, in your opinion, is bad and wrong. And just as honestly, write about the enormous benefits that Balkan Stream brings to Russia and Serbia. Then maybe they will listen to you.

In the meantime, even the most superficial analysis of Mladjan Djordjevic’s next “message to the Russian people” shows that it consists of a mixture of half-truths, outright fiction and ignorance of everything that could be considered a plus for the Serbian authorities. So, good sir, you won’t convince anyone of anything,” the experts concluded.
