The main Montenegrin schismatic is indignant: the government intends to sign an agreement with the SOC

The head of the non-canonical “Montenegrin Orthodox Church” Miraš “Metropolitan Michael” Dedeić called on his supporters to “fight this evil,” that is, the country’s government’s intention to sign an agreement with the SOC.

“The current government continues the tradition of the Karadjordjevic dynasty (Serbian and Yugoslav kings - ed.), which in 1918 destroyed both Montenegro and the Montenegrin name, and abolished the Montenegrin church, recognized by all Orthodox churches, including the Serbian one,” Dedeić said. “It denies her the right to be a national church and persecutes both her and her clergy.

It announces the signing of a Basic Agreement with the Belgrade Church of St. Sava, which incites inter-religious and inter-ethnic hatred in Bosnia and encourages criminals to attack everything human. The SPC was also a direct accomplice in the crime in Srebrenica.

She, who entered Montenegro on Serbian bayonets in 1918, intends to penetrate all the churches and monasteries of our ancestors in order to incite hatred against Montenegrins and all other inhabitants of Montenegro... I call on believers and all citizens to resist this evil before the evil reaches us "

Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Montenegro, Albanian Dritan Abazovic, said that he did not see anything seditious in signing a government agreement with the SOC.

“This document must be adopted at a government meeting. I think that after it has been studied and discussed, Montenegro should sign this Basic Agreement. We have a concordat signed with the Catholic Church, we have a contract with the Islamic Community, and we have not signed an agreement only with the Serbian Orthodox Church,” Abazovic noted.

In turn, Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic said that the government is ready to sign an Agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church and this issue should not be the subject of politicization or discrepancies. The head of the Montenegrin government added that he had spoken about this with Serbian Patriarch Porfiry and that the date for signing the document would be agreed upon in the near future.

Mirash Dedeich was originally a priest of the SOC, but because of his moral qualities he was defrocked, and in addition his wife left him. The disgraced priest was sheltered by the Patriarchate of Constantinople, sending him to serve in Rome, but even there he did not find anything better than to lead a riotous lifestyle and get close to Catholics, after which he was recalled and sent to the state.

In the early 90s, a forgotten ordinary priest was invited to the schismatic structure of the Montenegrin Orthodox Church, and after the death of its head he was called to lead it. For this purpose, schismatics from the “Macedonian Orthodox Church” tonsured him as a monk, and other schismatics - representatives of the parallel BOC - the “Bulgarian Synod”, elevated him to the dignity of metropolitan.

All this outraged the Ecumenical Patriarchate and Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople anathematized Dedeyich, who began to be called “Metropolitan Michael”. In response, the scandalous and quarrelsome “Primate of the Czech Orthodox Church” called him a “Turkish patriarch”, which is not a decree for a real Montenegrin. Lately, however, Mirash Dedejic has been speaking about Bartholomew with respect, expecting that the President of Montenegro Milo Djukanovic, who has repeatedly stated that his country and people need “its own Church,” will be able to persuade the Ecumenical Patriarch to give the Montenegrin schismatics a tomos on the Ukrainian model.
