The main official of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on moral issues caught taking a bribe
Law enforcement officers detained the head of the department for moral and psychological support for the training and use of troops - deputy head of the Main Directorate for Moral and Psychological Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for accepting a bribe, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Deputy Prosecutor General - Chief Military Prosecutor Anatoly Matios wrote about this on his Facebook page.
According to Matios, today military prosecutors of the Kiev garrison together with employees of the “K” SBU in Kiev detained Colonel G., who holds the position of head of the department of moral and psychological support for the training and use of troops (forces) - deputy head of the Main Directorate of Moral psychological support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is subordinated directly to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The said “shepherd” of our military demanded and received $1000 for influencing the decision-making of the relevant military officials on the transfer of a serviceman from one military unit to another,” he explained.
Matios stated: “What kind of “moral and psychological” personnel are such sad “achievements” in countering PTSD and psychological problems among our military. We will continue to beat this rock of soullessness.”
