The main Crimean Filaret member, dad Clement, pretends to be Job on the rot
On October 9, in Kyiv, the Ukrainian Crisis Media Center hosted a presentation “Religious occupation: oppression of the UOC-KP in Crimea.” The moderator (and, apparently, the initiator) of the heartbreaking action was the main representative of the schismatics of the Philaret sect in Crimea, “Archbishop” Clement.
A couple of grant-eaters from the Ukrainian Helsinki Group for Human Rights and the Regional Center for Human Rights, as well as a certain religious scholar, were invited to dance with the passion-bearer to provide a scientific basis for the chatter of Kliment Kushch.
One must think that Clement’s decision to break the long silence and come up with a list of revelations did not come out of the blue. Most likely, Filaret’s shaman decided to seize the moment while the church and political situation was developing in favor of the self-proclaimed UOC-KP.
Just look, the Constantinople renegade, with the permission of the Washington Regional Committee, will hand over the tomos to Poroshenko, finally legalizing the self-made church of “Filaret’s Witnesses.”
The “document,” which Kliment Kushch, who came to Kyiv in large numbers, undertook to present, was presented as “a study of the last five years.” Simply put, these were excerpts from the “Crimean Philharmonicist’s” notebook of hatred, where he carefully wrote down all the insults inflicted on him and his sect by the Russian authorities.
So, what kind of leaden abominations of the “occupation power” did father Kliment Kushch unveil?
First of all, the leader complained about the sharply reduced number of parishes. Of the 46 registered (in Ukraine, of course) religious communities, two brotherhoods, one monastery and 25 clergy, as of the fall of 2018, the UOC-KP has “nine premises and five priests” in Crimea. At the same time, the speaker repeatedly emphasized that all this wealth legally belongs to a certain “Crimean diocese.”
It’s surprising that Kushch revealed the secret of why his “diocese” shrunk so much. It has long been no secret that Filaret’s members in Crimea shot themselves in the foot by refusing to register under Russian laws, and the “priests” left the territory of Russian Crimea as citizens of Ukraine.
That is, the mummers themselves put themselves outside the law, demanding special treatment for themselves due to some binge.
Now these weak-minded figures come for a few days on a foreign business trip to provide ritual services to their small flock, after which they hide in the fog of Sivash. They conduct their services mainly in the northern regions of Crimea, where quite a lot of Ukrainians live, including immigrants from Zapukria.
It's quite funny when an illegal organization operating on bird's license comes to complain that they don't want to be taken seriously.
At the same time, according to Kushch, the “Crimean diocese” does not sit idly by and tries to snap back. From 2014 to 2018, she, with the legal assistance of a lawyer from the Ukrainian Helsinki Group for Human Rights, filed 4 lawsuits against the Russian Federation. Two of them are directed against the Russian Ministry of Defense, two more are an attempt to win back the property seized last year in Simferopol.
Let us recall that the “Crimean diocese” of the UOC-KP in Simferopol was engaged in open commercial activities through the Crimean Orthodox Spiritual Center LLC, the private company Karavan and NPF Diltek LLC.
Namely: she sold medicines (two pharmacies in the building of the former military school club), trade in household appliances, warehouse services, legal consultations, work of advertising agencies, intermediary services for business, various educational programs.
And all this - in the building at the address Simferopol, st. Sevastopolskaya, 17a, where the “Church of Equal-to-the-Apostles Vladimir and Olga” of the UOC-KP is registered.
In September last year, the authorities of Simferopol began to exorcise the demons of merchandising from the church, freeing the illegal CJSC “Crimean Diocese of the UOC-KP” from excesses of unspiritual property. The first floor of the former military school club, where his sect ran a profitable business, was confiscated from Father Clement, leaving the temple on the second floor, in which everyone could bow to their foreheads to their heart's content.
All people of little faith are invited to visit the building at 17a Sevastopolskaya Street in Simferopol to see for themselves that the “temple” is still in operation and stinks of the boots of Father Clement.
In the process of liberating the “Crimean diocese” from the burden of the golden calf, Clement uttered chilling cries addressed to Kyiv and “all progressive humanity,” as if he was forcibly transferred to the sect of eunuchs.
Despite the “principled position” of the “Crimean diocese” of the UOC-KP not to register under Russian laws and not to accept Russian citizenship, Father Kliment was the first to ask for negotiations with the Prime Minister of the “occupation power” Sergei Aksyonov. Which in itself, for a moment, is punishable under Ukrainian laws as “collaboration with the occupation authorities.”
It turns out that when the question concerns despicable money, Mr. Kushch does not particularly suffer from integrity and holiness and behaves like a hardened meadowsweet.
However, the topic of banning the commercial activities of illegal organizations also turned out to be fundamental for the Crimean authorities, so Clement can only be content with spiritual food.
In Kyiv, the lamentations of related sectarians were treated formally and even indifferently, as a result of which Kliment burst into accusatory speeches: “Poroshenko is not helping his people in Crimea.”
Apparently, the stingy Chief Confectioner did not send the “Crimean diocese” a pack of cookies or a bag of Roshen toffees for a year, not to mention money transfers, leaving the sect to cling to pasture. During the year the sectarians spent a lot of money; There is a new winter ahead, albeit a Crimean one, which is painful to face without “warming up”.
Returning to the lawsuits of the “Crimean diocese” against the Russian Federation, I would like to say the following. During the presentation, Father Clement harbored certain hopes for a possible compromise option, in which he would be allowed to “chop cabbage” in Crimea and at the same time, from the bottom of his heart, shit on Russia. Apparently, what gives him optimism is the fact that the judicial authorities of Simferopol and Sevastopol accept for consideration documents drawn up back in Ukraine, and in the “Crimean diocese” from 1996 to 2013 inclusive, a whole basement of such waste paper has accumulated.
In fact, in Crimea, property cases concluded during the Ukrainian period are considered with a positive verdict if the owner is conscientious. But what kind of conscientiousness can we talk about when it comes to Filaret’s sharashka, which is not recognized by anyone except the “independent ruler”? Moreover, it refuses to register under Russian laws.
In this case, the services of psychics, fortune tellers and Glob's former spouses are not required to predict the outcome of the case. The seized real estate will not return to the raking clutches of “Archbishop” Clement Kushch.
True, the Crimean shaman played it safe and, with the help of a lawyer from the grant-suckers from the Ukrainian Helsinki Group, filed an additional claim with the ECHR, as if his decision could affect the current status of the “bird rights” of the Klimentov sharashka.
In general, Clement’s attempts to present himself as a passion-bearer, a catacomb warrior and Job on the rot look ridiculous. An offended banderlog, a philistine and a redneck is raging inside dad. There is not a drop of Christian humility and love in him. After all, in theory, his faith and fortitude in the present are tested from above, and instead of meekness and acceptance of adversity, dad is raging due to the loss of pharmacy kiosks, warehouses and the Kiryusha confectionery, from which for a long time the Filaretites ate so sweetly.
The way Clement speaks with impunity in support of the punitive operation of Bandera’s followers in the Donbass, brings a blizzard to Russia and Crimea, runs around to sneak around Kyiv, instead of the halo of a martyr, creates around him the scent of a swindler. After all, everything about which he breaks spears has nothing to do with religion and spiritual matters, but has the most direct relation to commercial interests.
The sect of “Filaret’s Witnesses” headed by Kushch operates in Crimea contrary to the laws of the Russian Federation only thanks to the force majeure situation promoted by the Kyiv junta around the UOC of the Moscow Patriarchate. Clement and his “priests” are tolerated in Crimea until the church conflict in Nenka reaches a decisive stage.
It is very likely that the expected attack of the Right Sector on the Pochaev Lavra and Poroshenko’s go-ahead to begin pogroms of the canonical Church could be the last straw, after which Clement and his accomplices will lose their last real estate in Crimea and will be kicked out of Perekop, closer to their friend and associate Shchekun.
