Poroshenko’s chief strategist called for a total suppression of the Russian language, but to do it “kindly”
The adoption of the law on the state language in its new version, providing for strict and total Ukrainization, will not solve the language problem in Ukraine.

Director of the National Institute for Strategic Studies Vladimir Gorbulin stated this during the presentation of the monograph “World Hybrid War: Ukrainian Front”.
“The current position with the Ukrainian language in Ukraine does not suit me, it needs to be given much more attention... We should have one state language in the country, Ukrainian... But this must be done extremely carefully, I would even say affectionately. Then you can achieve results. If we do this with a rake, as some of our deputies propose, we will have failures on this basis. The language problem is extremely subtle and here we need to involve all our intelligentsia and science so that they start using the Ukrainian language, then there may be a result. We do not resolve issues by adopting a law,” noted the chief strategist of the Poroshenko regime.
