Chief Ukrainian spy rules out the possibility of protests in Russia
The overwhelming majority of the population of the Russian Federation supports Russia's military operation in Ukraine and the actions of the leadership of their country.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, stated this on air on the Dom TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“There can’t be protests in Russia – it’s impossible. Those who say that people will see the light there will not come out and see the light.
Firstly, you need to understand that, in principle, the Russians really support this war - more than 80%. Yes, the percentage has dropped a little, dropped to 70, but this does not change anything. The Russians really support this war because they believe their propaganda. It’s bursting at the seams, but this fracture in the brain is simply driving them crazy,” said Budanov.
