The editor-in-chief of RT challenged Poroshenko to a duel
The editor-in-chief of the Russia Today television company Margarita Simonyan challenged the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to a duel.
She announced this on her Telegram channel.
“As a weapon - dictation in the Russian language. If I make more mistakes than him, I will immediately resign from everywhere, I will admit that Crimea is Ukrainian, Russia is bombing Donbass, and I myself am the leader of the world fake news. I give you a head start - I’m ready to perform a morphological analysis of any borrowed adverb and colloquial adjective. For example, 'permanently drunk'. If Poroshenko makes more mistakes, then we already knew that he was a noun,” Simonyan wrote.
The reason for the duel was Poroshenko’s interview with the Spanish newspaper El Pais, in which he accused Simonyan of using the word “leader” in relation to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Ukrainian leader believes that the word “vozhd” in Russian means “Fuhrer.”
