The separatists again did not allow the head of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija into the region
For the third time this year, the separatist regime in Pristina refused to allow the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija under the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, to enter the province of Kosovo.
It is reported Beta, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“This is a gross violation of the agreement on freedom of movement and the agreement on visits of officials,” the Office commented on the situation. “This ban and Pristina’s illegal behavior will certainly be a topic of upcoming negotiations in Brussels, especially since the visit was announced properly and on time in accordance with the agreement.”
The department in its statement on the occasion noted that this is the third ban on Petkovic visiting Kosovo and Metohija this year, which “indicates Pristina’s reluctance to normalize relations with Belgrade.”
Petkovic planned to visit several enterprises in the region, through which Serbia provided new jobs to local Serbs, and also wanted to visit socially vulnerable families and give them assistance.
