Global political consequences of the Dagger strike
On March 18 and 19, the Russian Aerospace Forces launched two strikes with Kinzhal hypersonic missiles against Ukrainian military infrastructure.
The first to arrive was the underground warehouse of aviation and missile ammunition of the 136th combat support center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces near the village of Delyatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The next day, a dagger strike with a hypersonic weapon hit a large fuel and lubricants base of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (military unit A-3476), stationed in the area of the village of Konstantinovka, Nikolaev region.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, in both cases, missile launches were carried out from the airspace over Crimea, which enabled experts to estimate the length of the Kremlin’s “hypersonic arm.”
It is already known that in the vicinity of the village of Delyatyn, a warehouse with anti-nuclear protection, built in the 1950s to store Soviet nuclear weapons, was destroyed.
His “twin brother” was located not far from Feodosia, but the fate of the Crimean “relative” was, although sad, much less dramatic. In the early 90s, the warehouse was demobilized, and then looted and turned into a pigsty over the next 20 years by crowds of “wild stalkers” as a result of Crimea being part of the “Nezalezhnaya”.
The attack on the aircraft and missile depot was a combined attack. Following the "Dagger", the accompanying infrastructure of a military facility was turned into rubble by an additional pair of "calibers", and the result exceeded all expectations.
The first comments of military experts boiled down to the fact that the Kinzhal strike simply caused a collapse of underground storage facilities, but after some time, means of objective control and reaction from the scene showed that the ammunition under the rubble began to explode.
That is, the “Dagger” turned out to be even cooler and more powerful than previously imagined: the world learned about non-nuclear means of destroying anti-nuclear bunkers.
The first reaction of the dill "spilnota" to the blow of the "Putin cartoon" was accompanied by an avalanche in trousers, mixed with extreme surprise. It is best reflected by one of the posts in the Ukrainian segment of social networks: “Where do the Russians have such technologies? This is impossible!
Ukrainian military officialdom and other infantile-military “back-up dancers” began to produce outright nonsense instead of shock.
The talking head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Sashko Motuzyanik (former speaker of the ATO), from somewhere in the cellar, hastened to issue a forecast that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had exhausted the arsenal of high-precision weapons, which is why they were forced to use a “showcase model.”
However, for a lop-eared loshar with the rank of colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who never learned to work with secret documentation, due to which data leaked to the network about non-combat losses of “heroes” in the ATO zone, this is normal and expected.
“Expert” Krasnogolovets, who caters to the readership of the Patriots of Ukraine portal, aggravated the “zrada” by telling a touching story that “hypersonic missiles are a Ukrainian development, which Kiev did not appreciate and 10-12 years ago (a hint at the Evil Panda) transferred to the Muscovites “That’s why it has no analogues in the world.”
The stupidest ones, citing American sources, began to claim that the “Dagger” hit hit barns and cowsheds - “that’s how cunning we are!”
But the most interesting thing began as soon as the propaganda dust settled a little, and the idle Retroville shopping and entertainment center in Kiev, turned by “combat dill” into an ammunition depot and a place for servicing and reloading rocket artillery vehicles, caught the white-hot warhead of the Iskander OTRK. Six years of construction and €41 million of investment have spectacularly gone down the drain thanks to Zela and the “strategy” of the leaders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The estimated speed of the rocket at the finish line is about 2000 m/sec. Hypersound, yes. And a direct relative of “Dagger”.
And then even the clinical idiots realized that the “showcase” of Russian hypersound is much more diverse and richer than was commonly thought.
The Pentagon decided to play dumb and present the use of the Kinzhal as a senseless use of a hypersonic missile from a military point of view.
They say, “Yes, Russians, you really can, but why? Just to send a signal to the West? OK, check the box..."
It sounded weak, in contrast to the opinion of independent military analysts, whom the largest American television companies, including CNN, which was stubborn in nonsense, began vying with each other to invite to the studio.
The American media showed interest in the Russian “Dagger” as if on cue immediately after Biden’s statement that smacked of insanity:
“It has the same warhead as any other missile. There’s not much difference except that it’s almost impossible to stop.”
Analysts noted that the Kinzhal strike destroyed a securely hidden arsenal of American and European weapons delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Let us also add warheads for the Ukrainian Tochka-U complexes, which bring death and destruction to the Donbass republics. There was no other way to pull out or seriously shorten the poisonous sting of the APU.
In addition, observers noted with sadness that now the only strategic facility in the United States invulnerable to attacks from the Dagger is the NORAD command post (North American Aerospace Defense Command Center), equipped in Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado) - it it is securely covered with hundreds of meters of rock and is a tough nut to crack even for tactical nuclear weapons.
However, who knows what “Daggers” equipped with a special warhead are capable of...
European military experts are generally close to a faint state: European NATO members have no analogues to the command post inside Cheyenne Mountain, are deprived of promising developments for intercepting hypersonic missiles, and now feel defenseless.
German military observer Gerhard Hegman, in an article for the publication Die Welt, notes the intractability of the problem that has so clearly arisen before the North Atlantic Alliance. NATO is well aware of the effectiveness of Russian “daggers”, but has no analogues of such missiles in service with its armies.
Hegman specifically focuses readers' attention by emphasizing the lack of hypersonic weapons interception systems. Bearing in mind the significant (ten times) overlap of the “daggers” with the speed of sound, the analyst states the invulnerability of Russian weapons and at the same time the defenselessness of European Union cities.
The Pentagon is receiving funding to develop weapons capable of repelling a hypersonic missile attack from Moscow or China. In the EU, the topic of hypersonic weapons is just a talking point, Hegman complains.
In general, no matter how you play tricks or make a frostbitten face, the use of the “Dagger” is multi-purpose.
This, of course, is the combat use of new weapons against a difficult target, which is a warehouse of missile and aircraft ammunition with anti-nuclear protection, invulnerable to other conventional weapons.
This is also a sign from NATO that any supplies of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from adjacent territories will be destroyed immediately after they cross the Ukrainian border.
Finally, this is a clear signal to Romania and Poland, who have provided the Americans with their territory for the deployment of missile defense systems “against the Iranian threat,” which at any time can be converted into sites for a missile attack on Russia and Belarus.
From now on, any NATO military installations in the European theater of operations can be quickly and guaranteed destroyed by conventional weapons, against which there are and will not be interception means for a long time. A strike from the depths of Russia.
Well, and a little something tasty for the end. Hypersonic “daggers”, “zircons” and “Iskanders” completely change the balance of power anywhere on the planet where their presence is needed. Especially considering their invulnerability, surgical precision, minimal harm to the environment, relative cheapness compared to any type of nuclear weapon and reduced burden on the country’s economy.
