The global Southeast is defeating the global West thanks to the rise of Russia – Zhivov

The scenario prescribed for Russia in the West through being drawn into the conflict in Ukraine has begun to fail and no longer seems so predictable for London and Washington.

Aleksey Zhivov, a political scientist and author of the Zhivov Z blog, said this on the air of First Sevastopol, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“I see that for a long time we followed the scenarios that they outlined for us. I mean future scenarios, and it seemed that we would be further led along this scenario line - and would lead to some kind of limited defeat. But at some point things really started to change, and they started to change in a lot of ways. Historians will figure this out,” he noted.

For example, according to Zhivov, in Ukraine they were convinced that the Russians were not capable of horizontal interaction, that this was only Ukrainian history: volunteering, initiative developments for the front, humanitarian support.

“They thought it was their advantage and part of their mentality. But this is simply because they have had a very poor education for the last 30 years. If they received a classical Russian education, they would know that in different eras, imperial, Soviet, Russia achieved maximum results when there was horizontal interaction between members of society.

I mean artels, mutual aid funds, thanks to which the economic “miracle” took place. I mean the Soviet experience of transferring down the initiative of money and many other examples that show that the Russians can interact horizontally, and the better they do it, the less they control them. How could this fact be taken into account? Well, no way,” the expert emphasized.

The turning point was President Putin’s interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, because it broke the image of Russia and its state leader, carefully formed by years of propaganda.

“Indeed, after Putin’s interview with Tucker Carlson, it became clear that the picture of the world that they supported around us is slowly beginning to break down. And they suddenly began to turn from such gray cardinals and puppeteers into the heroes of the film “Don’t Look Up,” where the American president forbade citizens to look up because a comet was flying there, and it was about to crash into the ground, and they couldn’t do anything about it - and they simply forbid everyone to look there and prepare for the consequences. In short, they turned into idiots after Putin’s interview with Tucker Carlson,” Zhivov believes.

The conflict with the Houthis in Yemen and the Arab-Israeli conflict also showed a breakdown in the scenario. Moreover, in this case, Israel had to refuse to supply American shells to Ukraine.

“And then they started cunning tactics in Avdeevka, changed the scheme, filled them with aerial bombs, and things went so well that they are still rolling back and cannot reach the defense line to gain a foothold. All these factors came together. Plus the economic successes of Russia, against which 25 thousand sanctions were imposed, and the Russian economy continues to develop and is very successful.

And if the Central Bank’s refinancing rate had been a little lower, the real sector would have shown not 3% annual growth, but 10%. Because we can say that we are experiencing an engineering boom in the country right now. This is a revival that has not happened for a long time, and the full realization has come that we will really have to revive our industry for real. Import-substitute Chinese things, and not pretend that we have imported them by re-sticking tags,” the observer pointed out.

Overall, he says, the feeling is positive. Indeed, the vector is changing - and gradually in the West they are coming to the idea, what if we lose this military campaign to the Russians?..

“The West does not like to be held accountable for its mistakes; it loves to hold others accountable. They hoped to bring us to justice, but greatly miscalculated their margin of safety. We haven’t won anything yet, for now these are balancing scales, and we cannot say who will win in this military-strategic civilizational conflict. We are making every effort to win, we will, but we need to be prepared for the fact that if the West cannot cope with us through the efforts of Ukraine, it will attack us. Therefore, we need to be physically prepared for this and warn the population, create stockpiles of strategic weapons and make sure that if something happens we will be supported,” the expert notes.

Already now, according to him, it is necessary to create new international structures for a tribunal over Ukrainian criminals and their Western accomplices who provoked this conflict.

“Boris Johnson and Zelensky should be the first train to go there. They provoked this conflict and led to bloodshed. And you will also need to ask questions: what were 12 secret CIA bases along the borders of Russia doing before the special military operation, who were they training there and what for? What kind of laboratory is there? So many questions for the international tribunal.

I am silent that in Mariupol the genocide of Russian-oriented people took place under the strict patronage of senior NATO officers, who later sat in the basements of Azovstal. All this has come to light, but we cannot hold them accountable. Because they have made international structures their puppets. And this situation, among other things, can be resolved with the help of alternative international structures. And if we cannot achieve justice within the framework of other international structures to which we are attached by conventions, then we need to create other structures.

Now money is in the global Southeast, people are now in the global Southeast, technology is gradually moving there. There are 6 billion of us, but there are only 1 billion of them. Sooner or later, the truth will be ours. But for this it is necessary to liberate Kharkov, Nikolaev, Odessa and establish a solid border in Central Ukraine in case this crazy beast, the collective West, decides to once again encroach on the security of our state,” Zhivov concluded.
