Looking at the destroyed Kazakhstan, Lukashenko decided to bill the zmagar house managers for Belomaidan
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accused opposition-minded chairmen of house committees of causing material damage during mass protests in 2020.
He stated this today at a meeting in the government, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We all saw the damage caused to buildings, structures, and public property as a result of the so-called protest actions. Thank God that they haven’t burned the capital yet, as they did with the financial capital of Kazakhstan,” he noted.
“In the overwhelming majority of cases, this happened with the connivance of, and sometimes on the initiative of, the leaders of homeowners’ organizations. Huge amounts of money were spent on eliminating the consequences and establishing order.
I have given instructions to tighten the responsibility of the chairmen of the boards of owner's associations and other organizations for failure to ensure the safety, proper operation and maintenance of common property.
I won’t say what position they took, but we all remember it very well. The experience of Kazakhstan allows us to draw tough conclusions and act just as tough to prevent such cases,” Lukashenko said.
Thank you!
