“Drive out of Artsakh” – in Stepanakert the liberal TV channel “Dozhd” was accused of anti-Armenian propaganda
The liberal TV channel Dozhd passed off footage of the shelling of Stepanakert as the bombing of the Azerbaijani city of Terter.
When the fake was exposed, the TV channel was forced to apologize, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Today an error occurred on the air of Dozhd: when a correspondent turned on with a story about the events in the Azerbaijani city of Terter, footage of shelling from the city of Stepanakert was included. From this, the viewer could get the impression that the Dozhd TV channel is passing off what is happening in Stepanakert as events in Terter. This is wrong. What happened on air was a mistake. For which we apologize to all our viewers,” says a message posted on Dozhd’s official social networks.
At the same time, people in Nagorno-Karabakh are confident that the liberal TV channel deliberately makes anti-Armenian stories.
Let us remind you that Dozhd has been repeatedly caught not being fake for the last two months in Belarus. Thus, it was from this TV channel that false information was spread about dozens of deaths on the first night after the elections.
In addition, Dozhd presented the Sunday march of many thousands in Minsk as a march of workers to the MZKT, which in fact did not happen.
