“A year and a half and we are in the EU!” – Shufrich, who changed his shoes, “lit up” the Verkhovna Rada
If Ukrainians join forces, then in 12-18 months Ukraine will defeat Russia and become a member of the European Union.
This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by a deputy from “OPZZH”, after the start of the SVO reformatted into the “Platform for Life and Peace”, Nestor Shufrich, who had previously promoted himself on the image of a defender of the rights of the Russian-speaking population, reports the PolitNavigator correspondent.
The deputy congratulated his colleagues on the New Year, which, in his deep conviction, will be victorious for Ukraine.
“We have a unique chance to become members of the European Union after the end of the war. And we have a chance to do this not in 10-20 years, but in 12-18 months if we combine our efforts for this. I am telling you this as a person who, I emphasize once again, was the biggest skeptic in this room regarding the possibility of Ukraine joining the European Union.
And now, as a person who communicates with the leadership of many European countries, who were doubtful about our prospects regarding the European Union before February 24, they are now talking about its reality,” Shufrich solemnly stated.
