The Bosniaks of Bužime celebrated the anniversary of the massacre of Serbs with a march.
On the day when the Serbs honored the memory of 56 soldiers of the Republika Srpska Army in Novi Grad and Suva Meja killed during an Islamist attack, the Bosniaks held their rally in Bužim.
They marched in a column with the flags of the Islamist Army of BiH in green berets, with the participation of teenagers and children.
According to a PolitNavigator correspondent, the organizer of the “March in honor of the BiH Army” was a certain community Nanićevi Bužimljani, which timed its action to coincide with the “victory of the 505th Bužim Muslim Brigade of the BiH Army.” Participants of the action marched in a column wearing green berets with flags of the Islamist Army of BiH, shouting: “Allahu Akbar!” Typically, there were many teenagers and children among the march participants.
Bosniak activists call the so-called “victory” the January 1993 raid by a horde of Islamist militants on weakly fortified Serbian settlements, during which 59 soldiers of the Republika Srpska Army and many civilians were killed.
What is characteristic is that in BiH the Sarajevo government does not prohibit such marches, while for participation in the parade in honor of Republika Srpska Day, held on January 9 this year, the country's Minister of Defense Sifet Podzic initiated criminal cases against six Serbian officers, including his deputy Mirko Okolicha.
