“Vote, parasites!” – a land scandal broke out in the Rada
The Verkhovna Rada was unable to pass a law providing for the extension of the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land, sending the document for a second second reading, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Voting on the adoption of the law as a whole did not produce results, which gave rise to accusations against BPP deputies that they were deliberately preventing the extension of the moratorium and giving way to raiders to “squeeze” land from farmers.
“An important anti-raider bill is being brought down by the presidential faction. Why are they falling? Because the authorities support the raiders. All seizures of property and land that occur in Ukraine are carried out under the guise of the authorities. The position of the presidential faction, which does not vote for an important anti-raider bill, confirms that the raiders in Ukraine are protected by the authorities,” said deputy Oleg Lyashko.
He demanded the adoption of a law to extend the moratorium.
“Use the power you have left for a little while to protect people, not to rob. Vote for the law, parasites!” – Lyashko.
“For a year and a half, haven’t we brought people to the press point who are being shot at, whose wives are being tortured and their property and businesses are being taken away. This is not only a question of the agricultural complex, it is a question of all those who today have and will register movable and immovable property. But for the most part, these are agrarian issues and direct treatment of people who have shared lands,” Vadim Ivchenko, people’s deputy from Batkivshchyna, addressed the audience.
However, the law was not supported by the majority of deputies, who hardly voted to send the document for a second second reading. 235 out of 324 deputies supported this decision.
