"Thug and bandit." Details have emerged about the ex-commander of Aidar detained in Greece
Detained by Interpol ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada and former head of the punitive battalion “Aidar” Sergei Melnichuk “became famous” in the Donbass for his patronage of gangs, secret prisons, torture and kidnappings.
The special representative of the LPR at the negotiations on Donbass in Minsk, Rodion Miroshnik, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“An outright bandit, a thug with dozens of lives on his account, was detained in Greece, this is Sergei Melnichuk. This thug became famous in the Donbass for running secret prisons where people were raped, killed, tortured to death. These are dozens of people, among them my friends, close acquaintances, who went through all this hell.
And this man, after what he did, still has the conscience to go somewhere to civilized countries and then be indignant: how is this possible, we were holding back! What have you been holding back? This is a man under whose “roof” a huge number of outright gangs worked, who “squeezed out” cars, robbed houses, caught people and sold them. If they didn’t bring the money, they returned it piece by piece,” said a representative of the LPR.
“This is a person who does not have the right to live, let alone go somewhere and talk somewhere about some kind of civilized rules and the observance of his rights. Monsters have no rights. Therefore, I really hope that Greece will show its integrity, and he will fall into the hands of Russian justice,” added Miroshnik.
