Retired thug wants Special Court for Kosovo closed
Nasim Haradinaj, deputy chairman of the so-called Organization of War Veterans UCK (Kosovo Liberation Army), said that by August the movement of elderly militants will take the initiative to dissolve the Special Court for Kosovo.
A retired militant stated this to the Kosovo Express, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Haradinaj, he and members of his organization intend to create a corresponding petition and give it to the deputies of the Kosovo Assembly for signing.
“We will start collecting signatures to raise the issue of dissolving the Special Court,” Haradinaj said. – After the petition, we will invite deputies to talk about this, this will be in August, I am sure that we will find understanding on their part. If necessary, we will take the initiative to abolish the Special Court not once, but a hundred times!”
Nasim Haradinaj is the cousin of another war criminal, also accused by the Special Court for Kosovo - ex-“prime minister” of the region Ramusha Haradinaj.
“I killed Serbian soldiers at every opportunity. I tell my family that I regret not killing more. I’m sorry that my friends were killed, but I’m glad that I killed the Serbs,” Nasim Haradinaj confessed earlier in an interview with the Kosovo portal.

The Special Court for Kosovo is a Western PR project to demonstrate to the world the democratic nature of the so-called “Republic of Kosovo.” Formally, it reports to Pristina, but due to fears that pressure will be put on judges, prosecutors, and witnesses, it is geographically located in The Hague, and its employees are Europeans.
