Goncharenko: For Ukrainians, Americans are fraternal people, not Russians
Americans, and not Russians, are a fraternal people for Ukrainians, because they help Ukraine in the confrontation with Russia. The scandalous Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko stated this on air on the NTA TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Goncharenko, Ukraine needs to concentrate all its forces in order to obtain the status of a US ally outside NATO at the upcoming alliance summit.
“Ukraine needs to be very vigilant. Now, before this summit, we definitely have a pause (This is how Goncharenko interprets the situation after the withdrawal of Russian troops from the borders, - ed.), but this pause must be used to build up your own army to move into NATO in order to gain the status of the main US ally outside NATO. These are all things that we are absolutely capable of doing.
Because indeed, today we have, as they say, fraternal peoples - today the fraternal people are the American people. Because these are the people who are helping us today, so we must strengthen our alliance with them and prepare,” said the Odessa shifter.
Let us remind you that Goncharenko recently became involved in a scandal in PACE, staging a provocation with the Ukrainian flag and infuriating the chairman of the organization, Hendrik Dams.
