Persecution of the Russian language occurs in countries where neo-Nazism flourishes

Ukraine and Latvia are experiencing colossal socio-economic problems, and therefore are trying to find an external enemy to blame for their troubles.

The leader of the A Just Russia party, Sergei Mironov, stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel.

“Latvia and Ukraine are especially zealous in infringing on the right to receive education in Russian. For some reason, by a strange coincidence, it is there that neo-Nazism is nurtured and the SS men are glorified. This is alarming and not at all accidental,” Mironov said.

He noted that both countries have real problems.

“Ukraine has huge problems in everything: in politics, economics, social life. People are simply poor. The image of the enemy is important and necessary to them. Here is Russia, the aggressor, because of this all the troubles. Latvia has huge problems of depopulation. Not only Russians, but also Latvians are fleeing to other countries, because there are no special charms in their own country,” Mironov said.
