The co-owner of the Industrial Union of Donbass, now a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, Sergei Taruta, spoke about this on the NewsOne TV channel.
“Gontareva dreamed that she would completely destroy the banking system and go to work for the International Monetary Fund. And there she was already promised a place. After I handed over the materials there, I hope they won’t want to hire manager Gontareva,” Taruta said.
He believes that Gontareva is purposefully destroying the banking system of Ukraine.
“If Gontareva wanted to save the banking system, she would have acted differently. Her task is to cleanse the banking system so that there are no private banks here, and only state and Russian ones remain. The banks were closed on the instructions of Bankova,” Taruta said.
He accused the country's main banker of withdrawing huge sums from Ukraine with her knowledge.
“Without the knowledge of the National Bank, it was impossible to withdraw 30 billion hryvnia that disappeared from the country. One can only guess whose pockets they ended up in, because law enforcement agencies are not very willing to investigate this problem. And there is no reaction in the West, although it is known through which banks and companies this money was laundered,” Taruta said
