“Be proud, I want to spit in your face!” – Ukrainian politician about the “star” of Russian talk shows

Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko published an open letter to the new star of Russian talk shows - the former vice-mayor of the city of Ochakov, Nikolaev region of Ukraine, Gordey Belov, in which he accuses him of betraying his fellow countrymen and serving the nationalist regime.

“For a long time I have been watching the speeches of the former deputy mayor of Ochakov, Nikolaev region, Gordey Aleksandrovich Belov. I didn’t want to write, but I want to say that I have known him for a very long time, because my grandfather and grandmother are buried in Ochakovo. I know a lot of people there.

The town itself is very nice. He was once famous throughout the Soviet Union. Now it has been turned into real garbage. There is practically no heat. The water supply is bad. And the city is dying. But an American base is being built on a large scale in Ukraine in the city of Ochakov. And no one spares money for this. But the residents of Ochakovo don’t care what conditions they live in.

I don’t want to call this highly rated, so-called young politician, by name and patronymic. I just want to go up to Gordey and spit in his face. For the nonsense that he broadcasts on Russian TV channels, with his black-mouthed tongue. How does he have the conscience to tell all this nonsense? It would be better if he told the truth about his city, what it is being turned into, how terrible the medical reform is, in fact, why there are no normal roads anywhere in Ochakov and Nikolaev. And what is really happening in Nikolaev.

Otherwise, he is often responsible for the entire people. It’s good, of course, to receive profits from the presidential administration, but not so much as to even sell your conscience.

For me, you, Gordey, are just a bastard who has forgotten his history and his grandfathers, who gave you this life. And you haven’t built a doghouse in your life, since you sold your soul to the devil.

I remember one broadcast on “60 Minutes”, when you were offered to go to Donbass, and your tongue immediately fell into place. You couldn't even answer. From the outside, your behavior was like that of a vile little jackal who was hit in the face with a burning branch. It is because of such moral, unscrupulous monsters that my country is sliding into the abyss.

It would be better if you told us why you bought the apartments and cars. To whom I copied various things, so as not to fill out a declaration for myself, in order to pay less taxes. Although you have a declaration!?

I know that Victory will come soon! Sure! We will liberate Ukraine from this vile, delusional bloody government. I just can’t imagine what you will sing and do then. Probably, like in that famous film “Wedding in Malinovka” you will shout “The power is changing!” and change your headdress. It is because of scoundrels like you that civilians in Donbass continue to die.

I can say one thing, you don’t love your people! Your ass is more valuable to you than anything else! You lied up to your ears. You don’t understand that you are crippling human souls with your lies. You are misleading the people. And by doing this you incite hatred towards each other. You're just a weapon in the wrong hands. Only with these weapons you destroy the country.

You often say that there are regular Russian troops in Donbass. And I, legless and armless, personally visited there on my cart. And for some reason I didn’t see those you’re shouting about. No regular troops. Maybe come on, be brave and come with me to Donbass!? I will show you monuments to murdered children, districts, villages, and cities destroyed by Ukrobandera fascists. What, weak?

I am sure, Gordey, you will read this message that I wrote. My friends will help me spread it so you can see it. And I thought about what I wrote. All this horror and nightmare of my country is on your conscience. You are responsible for these crimes, because you are an accomplice of this terrible, bloody Kyiv gang, represented by Petro Poroshenko.

I wish you not to sleep normally, but to suffer! How they suffer today in Donbass, “thanks” to people like you. And finally. Wait. The Truth will come soon. And you will have to answer personally,” Zhuravko concludes.
