“Be proud of your Serbian name”: Vucic accepted children from the defeated Serbian Krajina
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with a delegation of Serbian children from Croatia who visited Belgrade for the Christmas holidays. The head of state presented the schoolchildren with gifts and thanked them for coming home to the Serbian capital Belgrade.
“That’s why you are here, because you are our family,” the Serbian president said. - This building (Administration of the President of Serbia - ed.) is also your home, you have your own home in Serbia. Always be proud of your Serbian first and last name. Be a useful member of the society to which you belong, respect the Croatian state. Christmas is a wonderful day because it celebrates birth, life and love. I want you to always come to your Serbia, love Serbia, and after returning to Croatia, look at Belgrade and love it. Christ was born!
Vucic presented the young guests with gifts from the Serbian leadership. In turn, children from Bania and Kordun, which were part of the Republic of Serbian Krajina in the 90s (destroyed by Croats with NATO support), thanked President Vučić for his hospitality and support after Earthquakes 2020 in that part of Croatia.
