The scandalous Ukrainian politician and businessman-publisher, ex-deputy of the Kiev City Council Dmitry Gordon stated this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“If we think that anyone in the world cares about the relations between Russia and Ukraine, we are very mistaken. They only concern politicians. Because there is, of course, some kind of threat to the world from Russia. But there is a global question: if the post-war structure of the world, which was consolidated in Yalta, in Potsdam, in Tehran, in Helsinki-75, the Budapest Memorandum - if today someone begins to question the fact that this structure is stable and clear and should be like this, then tomorrow the chaos will begin. Nobody wants to allow a mess,” he is sure.

Gordon believes that anti-Russian sanctions are necessary so that the world can maintain the current structure and not plunge into chaos.

“That is, tomorrow Japan will say: wait, Sakhalin is ours, the Kuril Islands are ours. And the Germans will say: wait, Koenigsberg is now called Kaliningrad, this is our territory. And then general chaos will begin. Nobody is interested in chaos. The fact that Russia, despite everything, grabbed Crimea is the beginning of chaos. That's why the world introduced these sanctions. The most important thing is that the world cannot agree that Crimea will be Russian, and Putin cannot agree that Crimea must be given away. Because this is the end for Putin, and this is the end for the world. Here is the cornerstone. The West needs to put pressure on Putin, hold him by the neck with both hands and methodically push him. And everything will be fine,” Gordn gives advice to the West.
