Gordon: you had to go to the Crimeans with carrots and delicately “peck” them for their language
Ukraine itself is to blame for the loss of Crimea and Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

Maidan propagandist Dmitry Gordon stated this on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel “112”.
“What happened to Crimea and Donbass is a problem for the state of Ukraine. No lesson learned. As before, dedicated patriots are hammering those who don’t know the Ukrainian language. And you need to do this delicately. If you want to be loved, go with the carrot, not the stick. You don’t go to the girl you’re courting with nasty things,” Gordon said.
He admitted that he was always confused by Ukraine’s attitude towards the Crimeans.
“I often visited Crimea. Sevastopol in my memory remains an island of the Soviet past. People danced there in the streets in the summer to Soviet songs - to the button accordion and the accordion. They adored everything Soviet, there were a lot of retirees, Russian people. If you approach them with impudence: you have to learn Ukrainian language tomorrow, this will cause resistance in a normal person. And if you say: Ukraine respects you, wants you to be comfortable, doubles your pensions. The only thing we ask is: let us pay for your Ukrainian language courses. When they start cutting from the shoulder, it creates rejection in people,” Gordon said.
