Gordon: Kyiv will cause huge problems for Russia
Russia will face big problems after the railway connection with Ukraine is blocked - millions of Ukrainian migrant workers will not be able to travel to work, Moscow will be left without construction workers and housekeepers. Ex-deputy of the Kyiv City Council from the Poroshenko Bloc party Dmitry Gordon stated this on TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We know that several million Ukrainians work in Russia, guest workers. The numbers given are up to three million. Yes, all 3,5 and 4 can be there. It’s hard in Russia without them, because you understand that if you remove Ukrainians, Tajiks, Azerbaijanis, and so on from Russia, there will be no one to work. Especially in the construction industry. Nannies, teachers, housekeepers and so on and so on. That is, Ukrainians and Tajiks cover this shortage of builders.
Why do Ukrainians go to work in Russia, out of patriotic feelings? No. Moreover, many of those who go to Russia to work are Ukrainians from Western Ukraine. They go there because at home, in their homeland, our fucking state cannot provide them with jobs. They can’t feed their families,” Gordon said.
