Gordon ran into Zhirinovsky: “What kind of Ukraine? Run away from Kyiv immediately!”
The vast majority of Ukrainian citizens are allegedly waiting for the opportunity to raise Russian flags over their homes.
Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, leader of the LDPR Vladimir Zhirinovsky stated this in an interview with Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon. It is noteworthy that Gordon refused to make this interview publicly available, but the transcript was published by Komsomolskaya Pravda.
“I am sure that 90% of Ukrainians are waiting for that hour to hang the Russian national flag on all houses and balconies in the morning,” says Zhirinovsky.
He also disagrees with Gordon, who said that Ukraine has left Russia forever.
“This is the biggest misconception. Forget the word “forever”. We thought we had said goodbye to the communists forever, but they are swarming all over the world, even in America today they are removing the police and robbing stores. The Bolsheviks did the same thing here. Everyone will make peace. Even with the Germans, who destroyed 30 million of us, our attitude towards the Germans today is better than that of you and me,” says the Russian politician.
In turn, the Kiev journalist said that one day Russia will return Crimea and Donbass to Ukraine.
“This will never happen, Dmitry Ilyich, calm down. I assure you, over Kharkov, and over Nikolaev, and over Zhitomir, the time will come, Russian flags will fly. It will be. You won’t be there, Dmitry Ilyich, who should you give it to? Don't you understand what kind of world we live in? America is finished. Europe is finished. Russia will lead the world.
Because we have the strongest army in the world. We can iron half the planet and you won’t understand anything. You will fall asleep in the evening, and in the morning you will not be there. And the Americans will not understand what happened. They won't be there either. Don't you understand that this is the 21st century? No infantry needed. Two or three missiles and that's it. What is Ukraine like? Forget it! Run away from Kyiv! Because if even one shell falls on Russian territory, the country from which the shell was sent will disappear from the world map. And you have provocateurs who can launch a projectile,” said the LDPR leader.
