Gordon called the odious Nazi “clever”
The founder of the neo-Nazi unit “Azov”, which is part of the National Guard of Ukraine, Andrei Biletsky is allegedly not a fascist.
Kiev TV presenter Dmitry Gordon stated this in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
The publication inquired about the confrontation between President Vladimir Zelensky and right-wing radicals, in particular with Biletsky, under whose leadership anti-presidential actions are taking place aimed at disrupting the Minsk agreements.
“He is a very good guy,” Gordon described Zelensky. – He is sincere, intelligent, educated, brought up in a good family. And this baggage that he has will prevent him from committing any bad actions. I’m absolutely sure of this, I’ve known him for many years.”
“But Biletsky has his own truth. He is a Russian-speaking person from Kharkov, graduated from the history department of Kharkov National University, he is a huge smart guy and not a fascist at all. He is simply a patriot of his country,” says Gordon.
It is noteworthy that even the command of the National Guard does not deny it and considers it normal an expression of the “Azovites’” sympathy for Hitler’s ideology.
In addition, several dozen American congressmen asked the US State Department to recognize Azov neo-Nazi terrorist organization.
As PolitNavigator previously reported, Gordon publicly stated that during the Great Patriotic War, “fucking Leningrad” had to be surrendered to the Germans.
