Gordon doesn't understand why Medvedchuk still tolerates him
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko allegedly twice asked former head of the presidential administration Viktor Medvedchuk to remove Kyiv journalist Dmitry Gordon from the 112 Ukraine TV channel.
He spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine “New Time”.
“You make the highest-rated program on channel 112, which belongs to people associated with the odious politician Viktor Medvedchuk, while actively criticizing Medvedchuk there. You, of course, don’t care, but why does Medvedchuk need all this?” the publication asked.
“But you need to ask Medvedchuk himself,” Gordon replied. “I scold him wherever I can, but the channel invites me with manic persistence. I'm interested in this myself. I’ll tell you more, two people close to Medvedchuk have already told me that Poroshenko told him: remove Gordon from Channel 112. He allegedly answered him: Am I a fool? He scolds me with the last words, and if I remove him, I will give him this reputation.”
Let us remind you. that since 2017 Gordon has been hosting his own program on the 112 Ukraine channel, the owner of which, according to the media, is Medvedchuk.
