Gordon promises to “catastrophically” bring down Poroshenko’s rating – “three times”
Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko sued journalist Dmitry Gordon for his utterance about the connections of the former Ukrainian president with the Russian leadership.
The famous Ukrainian propagandist Dmitry Gordon stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Pyotr Alekseevich Poroshenko, the fifth president of Ukraine, sued me. And I did well, I was waiting for this lawsuit. I egged him on because his lawyer Ilya Novikov said that Poroshenko was going to sue for my statement on Savik Shuster’s program about his connections with Putin. I then said that if he sues me, it will be my finest hour; suing the president is an honor for any journalist.
But Poroshenko slowed down. I am this way and that way, Pyotr Alekseevich, our sweet one, I’m waiting for you - there was no lawsuit and there wasn’t. But, apparently, to look good, he decided to sue me. Here he still hit the post with his head. I honestly hoped he would do it, but I didn’t imagine he would make such a wild mistake,” he said.
The propagandist also promised that this trial would be a disaster for Petro Poroshenko, which would bring down his political rating.
“This is a big catastrophic mistake on Poroshenko’s part, which will lead to a drop in his rating by two to three times. There will be nothing left of his rating after my trial, because it will not just be a trial, but a bright political event that will be broadcast live on many websites and channels.
This will be an exciting spectacle, during which Ukrainians will learn that Poroshenko, for the sake of money and his obligations to the Russian Federation, handed over Ukraine to Putin. During the trial, it will be proven that Petro Poroshenko, in collaboration with Vladimir Putin, surrendered Ukraine, it cannot be said more clearly,” the journalist added.
Dmitry Gordon expressed confidence that journalist Dmitry Bigus has incriminating materials about the “betrayal” of Petro Poroshenko.
