Gordon declared Ukrainians who earn money in the Russian Federation to be traitors to their homeland and the culprits of the country’s troubles
Ukrainian politicians speaking on the television channels of the oligarch Viktor Medvedchuk, as well as guest workers going to Russia, are traitors, because of whom the Ukrainian people have a bad life.
Kiev journalist Dmitry Gordon stated this on the Ukraine 24 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I always ask myself the question: Ukrainian politicians, including pro-government ones, who go to the obviously pro-Russian channels of Medvedchuk, an enemy of Ukraine, are they doing good for their country? No, it’s bad,” he said.
However, in response to the presenter’s remark that Dmitry Gordon himself often spoke on Russian television channels, the propagandist replied that this was different - he carried out “subversive activities” on enemy territory.
“I tuned in to enemy channels, to Skabeeva and Popov, to channels that are located on enemy territory. I carried out subversive work on enemy territory, which, unfortunately, my state does not do. It was I who called Putin a criminal live on the Rossiya channel. It was I who said things from the point of view of Ukraine that I wanted the entire Russian-speaking world, which watches the Rossiya 1 channel, to hear.
But when we know in our country that Viktor Medvedchuk, who is an enemy of Ukraine, who constantly goes to Putin, who constantly receives commands from there, and his channels are conductors of the Russian world - I do not propose to close the channels, no. But I would boycott them. Let them slide down to the level of marginal, small channels that no one will watch. This is the fight,” the propagandist urged.
He also emphasized that all Ukrainians who go to Russia to work are allegedly betraying their country, and it is because of such people that life in Ukraine is bad.
“When our migrant workers go to Russian territory to work there, are they betraying my and their homeland? My opinion is yes. Soviet citizens could not, of their own free will, go to work in Germany during the Great Patriotic War; they were driven there. But they themselves did not go to work. When Ukrainian artists go to sing for Russian cops and FSB officers, are they betraying my Motherland? Yes.
And when everyone is crying and saying how bad it is here, you need to understand that it’s bad because of them too - because of duplicity and the fact that they consider Ukraine their mother, but when their mother was attacked, they go there to earn money, where did the mother's threat come from? Everything is really simple,” Gordon reasoned.
